I am wondering if this is known in Europe?
I wonder what harm this practice could do if it were known in Europe/US?
In general they do like a reason to treat foreigners like crap. One day a dumb NZ cow was joking with the other people about me not understanding rugby (actually I do, it's not rocket science like these kiwis think it is). When they have lower qualification and less language ability, and by law they cannot be openly racist, this is what they resort to.

NZ: puny country, but full of bitches.

Yeah, they stick by the law usually, but you wouldn't believe what I've been called over the years and how nasty these sheeple can become when intoxicated or in a frenzy. They resort to much worse things than calling somebody a "know nothing" about rugby, even so in their mind that might be the worst one can be called. I've been even physically attacked several times, never in a fair one to one, allways by several others of these nastys!
Lucky I can take an give a punch and I'm ususlaly pretty confident and staunch, without that these bitches surely would have dealt to me allready and I would have left this country for good, perhaps in a box. In situations at work, they can be especially nasty when it comes to protect their zone or status quo due to justified criticism towards them and their performance. They don't like anything foreign, thats what I know after 20 years ! At the very best, they are just curious about it to find out if it suits them in a positive way, they are sniffing it out and analyze it before they decide to dump it anyway. A very ancient and instinctive way of dealing with new and strange things that can still be observed by anthropologists in remote and unexplored parts of the world during encounters with the natives. Said and done !!!

Hey thanks, Pluto. I kind of freaked out when I realized that you have actually read my posts. I have given it a shot and I have just realized that I don't know the right people in NZ and I have learned over the years that I never will. I am not running back to the US and probably never will, but I am moving on to a place where my experience and education is recognized a bit more objectively. I am not grandiose and I am not "up myself." I am just filling a gap that exists that will allow me to improve my circumstances and hopefully that of another human being.

I thought I was doing the same here in NZ; however, I have been repeatedly told directly -- and indirectly -- that I don't know my place. Given the place awarded me is that of a pig who walks on two legs (or thereabouts) I am just not happy to live in a country where my grunts will never be heard.

RWC !? Big Deal ! Rugby World Cup ! Who gives a flying fuck anyway ! It's not the world who plays Rugby and it's not the world either that comes here to watch ! They make such a fuzz out of this antiquated backward and unsophisticated bloodsport and call soccer (real football) players poofters, sissys and whimps who are too weak to play rugby.
Who is coming here to play? Australia, South Africa, Argentina, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland !
The French will be very cautious and might not qualify because they might never get out of here alive! A highlight in the monotonous life in the South Pacific, nothing of any significance for me!

I learned yesterday from a reliable source that income statistics in NZ are not what they appear to be. He has been a statistician that worked with income data in a government department. He collected, analysed and passed on the analysis to senior official’s. There was always a mismatch of what he worked out and what was officially published. My source has a math major in statistics. So he is competent to comment on it.
BTW, he had to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
The official ones were always quite a bit higher than the stats he worked out!!

Advantage of these cheeses is that you can wash your clothes with them, they're like a block of soap !
Anything that is slightly better costs an arm and a leg ! This place is wrong, badly wrong ! One of the reasons is greed of the local and international multis(goes for any product, beer, cheese, bread etc.) and the shopping habits of the public.
Kiwis go for quantity, not quality ! And their tastebuds are definitely different as a matter of fact ! They don't like blue vein, it stinks, they don't like camenbert, it stinks and runs, and they don't like parmesan, it really stinks and runs and how do you slice it on your cracker, anyway!?
Culinary vandalism which is expressed by the usual tucker-fucker attitude in this country is a national tradition, if not religion! They have the unique and outstanding talent to be able to grow and breed some of the best products in the world but completely and utterly ruin these by their way of processing and preparation. Well, most of them(us) never get to see these superb products in the first place since all of the good stuff gets exported and they(we) get the scrapings from the bottom of the barrell !
Perfectly suited people to be cheated by their own government and businesses because they been born and breed into frugalism and with their calvinistic heritage believe it's just the way god want's it to be !

In some ways it's good to know that New Zealanders are as flumoxed by it as much as we are. Some things simply cannot be fixed. Once you realise there is no solution, other than to get the hell out of dodge, it becomes a whole lot simpler.
